 "To promote the study, preservation and display of all historical vehicles" Since formation in 1982, the society has acquired numerous exhibits and archive material in relation to the history of transport. Our aim is to hold various events such as vehicle runs, shows and exhibits in the Yorkshire region.
At the moment, we hold three annual transport rallies:
We have a quarterly magazine (Newsline) informing our members of society news and forthcoming events. Members are encouraged to contribute to this publication. Society members meet for a social evening every second Wenesday of the month at the Black Bull Public House in Birstall at 8pm. Anyone interested in becoming a member, please use the membership application form under "Membership". You do not have to own a vehicle to become a member. Anyone with photographs, memorabilia or just a general interest in transport, would be welcome to apply to join. |
